We had a great Christmas Eve at the Moss house! They made us yummy potatoes, salad, and ham to eat. It was fun to hang out and have dinner around their table like we used to do all the time before they started going on missions!
Dan was showing us how to REALLY enjoy the cream puffs!
After dinner we kicked off the party with a white elephant gift exchange!
Halle hit the jackpot picking Grandma Ginny's old shoes!
They didn't fit her of course so I was right on her heels trying to smash my fat feet into them! They were darling. I have never felt Anastasia's pain so severely until this moment!
I LOVE old stuff...clothes and jewelry being my favorite! I collect antique jewelry.
Sydney has been brought up to appreciate good taste and jumped on the band wagon! Her selfish feet fit perfectly into the gold high heels!
I am still speechless!
She brought over a few more pair on Christmas day.
I checked to see if my feet were feeling a little more compromising in light of the Christmas spirit, but no, they were stubborn just like their owner!
Bella was ecstatic when she opened her Stouffer's lasagna!
It wasn't until she saw the sand in a bottle gift that Ella made that she considered trading. When Grandma Patty stole the lasagna from Bella she was extremely upset
and hung her head in silence!
Some of the other gifts not pictured above are:
A broken flashlight
stuffed animal

About a month ago we all had dinner at the Moss house. Addie let her parents know that she would LOVE and easy bake oven. They mocked her and let her know she would NEVER get that for Christmas. I kept asking why that was such a bad thing to ask for and they said it wasn't practical..well maybe so, but I couldn't help it!
I made sure her parents were close as she opened it because I knew their reaction would be worth the picture....
He didn't know if he should laugh or strangle me!
Halle was so tired she climbed up, lifted up her shirt and told me to tickle her! This runs in our family you see, she can't help it.
I do the same thing...though I can't get away with it quite like Halle can!
Isn't Tiffany beautiful!
I got a few great pictures of her showing her REAL smile and personality!
Sometimes thats hard to catch when you make people pose!
He told them if they could take care of it all year and bring it back the next Christmas they could have another. It will be interesting to see if any of them make it!
Alas, it was time for the traditional "Nativity Scene".
We all dressed up to remember Christ's birth. It is always interesting to see the characters each person plays and the random outfits each comes up with. I look like I am wearing an African party dress, but I am actually a wise man.
My sweet pregnant Heather.
She looks like she has a basketball in her shirt...something I can't relate with!
I carried a whole sports team and their equipment in my clothes when I was pregnant ALL five times!
Halle, the star of Bethlehem
Now if these two don't look like real angels, I don't know what would!
Kinley, our narrator.
She memorized most of it, but had the scriptures to remind her if she forgot.
What a memory!
Later when we got home, Kinley and Syd helped me get the rest of the the photo album I made for jon put together. It took forever! I had already been working on it for countless hours, not to mention the year of editing and taking pictures!
Before bed the girls were allowed to open one gift...P.J.'s of course!
They were all very excited and put them on before bed...as visions of sugar plums were soon to dance in their heads!
