So......This is the first day of school this year. My girls don't remind me of myself at all. I get them ready to take a picture and they all pull a face. It's a lot more fun that way. I don't believe in taking myself too seriously. Where's the fun in that?

My Friend Kori
I wanted to post some pictures of one of my best friends, Kori (and her family).
Jon and I took them boating to Jordanele. We had tons of fun. Paul and I both grew up in Bountiful and both enjoy skiing, so this was the best date ever for all of us. It was a beautiful day. Kori and Paul had so much to do while they were here
but we kidnapped them and went up for the afternoon.
I went to college with Kori. She was a great blessing because I was having a hard time meeting girls that wanted to have fun. Every girl I had met before her only cared about their hair, makeup, etc. Kori can plan like the boys with me.
We have many funny stories together.
One of my favorite is when we decided to go drive on UVU's sidewalks at night! The sidewalks are really wide, wide enough for a car in fact! We were bored and gave it a shot. We were having loads of fun until a policeman turned on his lights and started chasing us! We started laughing and pulled over. The policeman came around the drivers side which was Kori. He asked us what in the world we were doing. We explained that we were restless and had nothing else to do. Of course he didn't like this answer and was a little irritated. Another police officer came around to my side and offered advice
on how to get out of the ticket that was inevitably coming!
He whispered that we should compliment the other officer on his beard.
We did, and it worked like a charm :)

Eventually they let us go.
Kori and I met in Anatomy. We both took this class for an elective!! How crazy is that? I don't know. We enjoyed it so much that we learned a lot and were asked to be T.A.'s. This was all fine and dandy until the finals came.
There were 2,000 terms that we were tested on just in the lab section. I guess they asked me the 200 I didn't know because I didn't do very well! I did on the other hand make a friend that I will love for life. Kori is fun, authentic, loyal, beautiful, funny, supportive, caring, ...a true friend.
